Shared Lives is a comprehensive training program designed for foster care agencies and practitioners to confidently train prospective foster carers. The package provides practical tools, structured resources, and a clear, evidence-informed framework to support practitioners in delivering high-quality preparation, assessment, and decision-making.
This course will cover:
- Understanding brain development & developmental trauma
- Repair parenting & therapeutic responses (PACE approach)
- Culture, identity & belonging
- The impact on carer’s own children
- Working as part of a care team
Delivery mode:
- Full Face to Face workshops (Maximum of 8 participants)
- Full Online workshops (Maximum of 12 participants)
- Workshops delivered at our Infinitas Head Office or at your agency location
- One on One sessions delivered with the carers
